1. Information We Collect
PeptidePay collects minimal information necessary to operate the platform. When you connect your Solana wallet, we store your public wallet address as your unique identifier. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information beyond your public wallet address. Research submissions, votes, and reward claims are stored in our database and associated with your wallet address.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your wallet address is used to: authenticate your session, associate research submissions with your account, track reward eligibility and claimable balances, display your profile and research history, and rank you on the leaderboard. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Blockchain Data
PeptidePay operates on the Solana blockchain. When token rewards are distributed, transactions are recorded on-chain and are publicly visible by nature of the blockchain. Your wallet address and transaction history on Solana are public information that we have no control over.
4. Cookies & Sessions
We use a secure, encrypted session cookie to maintain your authenticated state after connecting your wallet. This cookie contains only your wallet address and expires when you disconnect. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
5. File Uploads
Supporting files uploaded with research submissions are stored in Supabase Storage. Uploaded files are publicly accessible via URL once submitted. Do not upload files containing sensitive personal information.
6. AI-Generated Content
When you use the AI Research Generator, your topic description is sent to our AI provider (AI/ML API) to generate research content. We do not store your topic descriptions beyond what is necessary to generate the response. The generated research paper is stored in our database as your submission.
7. Data Retention
Research submissions, votes, and reward records are retained indefinitely as part of the platform's permanent research record. If you wish to have your data removed, contact us via X/Twitter at @PeptidePay. Note that on-chain transactions cannot be reversed or deleted.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted sessions, server-side authentication, and Supabase's Row Level Security infrastructure. Your private key is never requested, stored, or transmitted by PeptidePay. All wallet interactions are handled client-side by your wallet application.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
